Do you print samples?

Screen Printing
Screen printing requires a full setup for each design & colour, including creating custom screens, mixing inks, and press setup. This process is time-consuming and has a significant upfront cost, even for a single item. Because of this, producing one-off or small-run samples isn’t practical.

That said, we’re always happy to help you feel confident in your order. We can provide detailed mockups, ink colour guidance, photos of past work, or recommend alternative methods (such as DTG or DTF) if a physical sample is essential before committing to a full run.

Embroidery
Embroidery requires a full setup for each design, including digitizing the artwork and machine setup. This process takes time and like screen printing ,has upfront costs, even for a single piece. Because of this, producing one-off embroidered samples isn’t practical (or will be quite expensive).

To help you order with confidence, we provide detailed digital proofs, thread colour guidance, and examples of previous embroidery work. This ensures you know exactly what to expect before your order goes into production.

Digital Printing
We can absolutely print samples for both DTF and DTG printing. These methods are great for very small or one-off orders as we have no minimum charges or setup fees. Keep in mind that while are can digitally print a sample of your artwork, if the end product is to be screen printed, the samples will not be comparable as these methods look and feel very different.

How do I place and order?

Use our new and improved contact form. If you're unsure what printing option is best for you, make sure to give our comparisons a thorough read.

What are your artwork requirements?

Ideally, we receive your artwork in a vector-based format, fonts
outlined, sized as you would like it printed. We can accept Adobe
Illustrator files (.ai), Photoshop files (.psd), or editable PDF files
(.pdf).

Screen Printing: vector file with any fonts outlined is required

Digital Printing: minimum 300 DPI jpeg, .png or .tiff file

If your artwork isn’t in one of the formats listed above, we offer 15
minutes complimentary design consulting to discuss realistic
possibilities and any file conversion options.

We charge any additional design consulting services at a rate of $45/hour thereafter.

What materials can you print on?

We print a variety of textiles (tea towels, tote bags, t-shirts) as well as on paper and other materials. Take a look at what we print to see our work – we love a challenge!
