Direct-to-Garment printing has several benefits:
- Minimal set-up time
The main advantage of DTG is that there is almost no set-up time.
- Perfect for small orders
Direct-to-Garment printing is excellent for projects with very small quantities or many colours which are not suitable for screen printing. - Increased colour options
Direct-to-Garment printing can also print continuous gradations, where screen printing relies on spot colours and halftones.
DTG inks are also quite expensive, so while it may be the only option for printing some kinds of artwork, it may not always be the most economical.
Direct-to-Garment printing does have some limitations. We recommend using fabrics with a high cotton content and we do have some size restrictions.
For the best results, we recommend printing on white, or near white 100% cotton materials
